Wildwood provides neurodiversity-affirming pediatric occupational therapy near Port Angeles, WA. We support children whose sensory processing, regulation, motor planning, body awareness, interoception, or daily routines are making it harder to participate fully in everyday life.
*Sessions are individualized, relationship-based, and grounded in meaningful play. Wildwood currently offers nature-based care and is growing to include a dedicated indoor sensory-motor space for more consistent, year-round support.
Guiding Philosophy
When a child is struggling with sensory processing, regulation, motor skills, or everyday participation families are often left navigating a confusing system without a guide. Wildwood Occupational Therapy helps children build regulation, confidence, and the ability to participate fully in their lives. Whether your child needs hands-on therapy in nature or your family needs expert help understanding a new diagnosis, we meet you where you are and walk alongside you every step of the way.
Where we meet you
In-person sessions are held outdoors in a natural setting on the Olympic Peninsula in Port Angeles, WA. For families across Washington, we offer virtual parent coaching, diagnosis navigation, and IEP advocacy.
Wildwood is growing!
I began Wildwood outdoors because nature creates unique opportunities for movement, connection, creativity, and regulation.
I am now developing a dedicated indoor sensory-motor space that will allow me to offer more consistent year-round care, structured assessment, suspended movement, climbing, motor-planning challenges, and quieter spaces for regulation. Sessions will be able to move between indoor and outdoor environments based on each child’s goals, interests, regulation, and needs.

Meet Kathryn

Kathryn Chambers, MSOT, OTR/L
I'm a pediatric occupational therapist with years of experience in sensory integration, emotional regulation, and motor development. I've worked with hundreds of families in schools and clinical settings helping children thrive and helping parents feel less alone in the process.
After years in busy urban schools, I made a deliberate choice to slow down; moving my family to the Olympic Peninsula to practice a different kind of therapy, rooted in nature and genuine relationship.
I hold a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSOT) and am a licensed and registered OTR/L. My approach is neurodiversity-affirming, child-led, and always family-centered.
For Community Partners
Wildwood welcomes collaboration with pediatricians, speech-language pathologists, school teams, behavioral health providers, family-support organizations, and other community professionals. A child may be a good fit when sensory processing, regulation, motor planning, coordination, body awareness, interoception, or daily routines are affecting participation at home, at school, or in the community. We are epsecially interested in supporting children whose needs seem to fall between systems and when families know that something is genuinely difficult, but are unsure which kind of service is meant to help. Families may contact Wildwood directly to discuss whether the practice is a good fit. With caregiver permission, we welcome communication and coordination with the child’s existing team.
